Victor Oladipo

Surrounded by the craziest free-agent move in the off-season, the Thunder’s pick-up of Victor Oladipo was over shadowed. It was a good move, and the Thunder have shown that, as they’ve gotten off to a pretty good start. This would be a trade within the division, but it would be something that the Thunder should take a look at.

I know what you are starting to think, and no, I don’t have anything against Jameer Nelson. I like him going to the Thunder because besides Westbrook, they are pretty thin at the point guard position. There is Cameron Payne and Semaj Christon, but Nelson could be a great back-up for Westbrook while also giving veteran experience to Payne. Barton could be an interesting fit, because he plays intensely like Westbrook.

I truly believe that they could fit well with each other. The Nuggets would be getting a good guard in Oladipo, who would most likely crack the starting line-up. In this case, I would have Jamal Murray make the switch to point guard, with Gary Harris and Malik Beasley backing up Oladipo.
