Draymond Green

Okay, I know that I may hear some doubters on this one. A fan can dream right?

Draymond Green is a very vocal player, who is not afraid to let somebody know what he thinks. In a way, this translates to the basketball court as well. He plays with so much intensity, and has a smooth jumper as well. I know that some fans could consider him a distraction, but with the right coaching and situation, he could be contained.

This trade could seem one-sided at first glance. The reason that it works for the Warriors is that Kenneth Faried is a great hustler and rebounder.

He can play great defense, and that could come in handy for them down the road. He would be a great energy for them off of the bench as well. Hernangomez is a young talent that has the potential that not many people know about. The Warriors’ power forward position is pretty thin as well, as aside from Draymond, there is David West, and that’s it.

Sure, Kevin Durant can play the four, but with these two additions he could focus on his natural position. The Nuggets would benefit from Draymond’s leadership and intensity on the court, and it would get them that superstar that they have been longing for.

Still don’t believe that it’s a good trade? I put this trade into the ESPN Trade Machine, a program in which anyone can simulate any trade and it predicts the outcomes of them. This trade actually came out saying that the Warriors would gain two more wins, while Denver would lose three more. This being said, I think it could work for both sides.

Well, there you have it. Again, these aren’t trade rumors, don’t go telling everyone that these trades are going to happen. There are many different options that Denver could go with, much more than I discussed today.

It will be interesting to see what they do for the rest of the season. If you have any disagreements, we’d love to hear them!
