Most saw this game as an easy win for the Nuggets, who fell to the injury-depleted Miami Heat 98-106, thanks to some sloppy play and questionable coaching.

"Yes, Gary Harris and Will Barton are sorely missed, but coach Mike Malone’s handling of the Nuggets in their absence has left many questioning his ability to make Denver a winning team."

Fans have every right to be disappointed with this loss. At the forefront of this, receiving the most complaints from fans, is not any specific player, but rather Nuggets head coach Mike Malone. Many have come to question his choices in both starting line-ups and rotations, and Wednesday’s loss to the Heat has added some extra fire into the situation.

In hindsight, there were some coaching decisions worthy of challenging, any one of which could have meant a win for Denver. But before we get into theoretical situations, the actual play of this Nuggets team needs to be analyzed individually and as a whole.
