Ahh Carmelo, do you remember the days when you ran the West with AI and Billups?

What happened since? You created a “superteam” of Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, and Kristaps Porzingis, but they are only 8-9 so far. This game should be good as it is a home game for Denver. Can those old bodies keep up in the thin Denver air, if they even stay healthy going into this game? Probably not, so the young Nuggets will fly around these old guys and get that W.

Chandler should be able to lock down Porzingis, and it will be interesting to see who Malone puts on Melo. Let us know in the comments who you think will be the best defender against Melo?

With Mudiay being a tall, physical defender, it shouldn’t be hard for him to matchup with Derrick Rose. Denver again should be able to use their second unit depth to run the Knicks off of the court, or at least that is what we hope for.

Nuggets should win this game and start 2-0 in their three-game home stand.
