When a coach appologizes to the fans you know things are not going right. Things aren’t going right for the Denver Nuggets.

The Nuggets had an 0-3 week and that is not even the worst part of the week. The worst part was the lack of energy at home that lead to two bad losses against the Heat and Rockets. So it will come as no shock the Nuggets dropped in the national media power rankings. The 24.33 average really hurt but was much deserved after a bad week of basketball.

We could over analize this three game skid but you have to consider this is a young team and the number of injuries that have taken out key players early in the season is playing a part in their 8-13 start.

I dont fully understand why there is lack of energy at home. Not sure if anyone on the staff can explain it either. It seems one constant complaint that is voiced around the Pepsi Center is about rotations. Some nights it seems like not enough guys get minutes the next night too many guys are getting minutes.

The next five games will be on the road and this seems to be fine with the Nuggets. Hopefully they will find some answers to thier issues on both the offensive and defensive end.

Just got done watching the Sixers game as I was finishing up this article, and it was nice to get a W. The rotations seemed to be a bit tighter and the Nuggets closed out the late minutes with some solid play.

Now the Nuggets just have to translete this approach into more games as the season moves forward. It starts again against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night.
