Comparing Guard Play

I’m a little concerned about young Mudiay.

Parker ate his lunch.

110 year old Parker (obviously an embellishment, but you get the point).

How does that little guy go through our legs when I thought he was retiring 5 years ago? Because he knows he can. He knows when he can float and sting.  He takes care of himself.

He’s smart.

Mudiay has made strides but needs to change his game to become a viable point guard.

I hope he can come along. Mudiay is such a great physical specimen and gentleman, but he needs to know his skills and limitations; accentuate the former and work on the latter.

He needs to be in the gym 16 hrs a day.

If he can’t improve more quickly, Murray needs to be groomed to take over the reins. Murray has the lateral speed Mudiay does not, and plays harder.

He needs to practice getting assists and should be schooled. Or we may need to look into another point guard.

Each one of the Spurs knows their job.

They are all part of the hand with each digit performing with terrific accuracy, strength and desire.
