Hold Your Head High

I’m not so sure San Antonio is not a better team than Golden State.

They don’t expend the same energy and get the same results. So much experience.

Don’t hold your heads down guys. The entire book hasn’t been read on our team.

But we need to keep turning the pages and remembering and using what they have read.

Coach Malone is on the right track. His apology to the team was a mature and enlightening thing to do; it showed that he realizes this is a team and coach effort and that they are learning.

And I believe the team wants to do what coach wants.

The whole key learned from this game is that San Antonio knew how to adjust from our onslaught, and persevere with tenacity. It is because of their vast experience and their intelligence.

It didn’t hurt that they have perennial all-stars.
