Jokic has an opportunity to bounce back.
Nikola Jokic has been struggling since the All-Star Break. It is no secret and the Nuggets fan base is well aware of this fact.
With that in mind, do not be surprised if he bounces back against the Chicago Bulls. He has had a tough assignment the last couple of games. He had to battle Brook Lopez in the game against the Brooklyn Nets and then he had to go up against Marc Gasol.
Gasol, one of the best centers in the league, also happens to be one of the toughest big men defenders in the entire NBA. In this match-up with Chicago, he will be matched-up with Robin Lopez. Lopez is a good rim protector, but if Jokic can get going from deep, it will force him away from the hoop.

As a result, the other guys will have a chance to get into the paint for a feed from him and/or Jokic can have Lopez at a disadvantage. He will be able to either stretch the floor if he heats up from deep or he can drive the lane and force the defender to use his agility and athleticism. As a result, I believe Jokic will be able to bounce back and have a strong showing.
Look for him to get a healthy dosage of points in this game. That won’t be the only facet of Jokic’s game to watch out for. Despite his struggles, Jokic has still been facilitating the offense effectively. His assist numbers have still been great.
If Jokic can maybe draw a couple of double teams, then he will most certainly find the open man for some easy points.
Even when he is being defended normally, he still finds a way to facilitate the other scoring options for some easy assists.
If there was going to be any game where Nikola Jokic bounces back and re-gains his form, it will be this game against the Chicago Bulls.
