Denver fans sure wish they were watching their team in the post season.

Denver fans have gone through a myriad of emotions this season. It was heart breaking when they were knocked out of the playoff picture by Russell Westbrook and his historic performance.

With that in mind, you may be wondering how many Nuggets fans feel watching this year’s post season. Well, the answer is more simple than you would think. The answer is indifferent. Now, I am not saying this is how every single Denver fan feels.

But for a lot of fans, yep, they, like me, are just indifferent to whatever happens this summer. The Nuggets showed so much promise this season that it was difficult to imagine them missing the playoffs. Sadly, they did.

As a result, many of us Denver fans could care less about what happens and who wins what in the playoffs this year. “But what about a Cavs Warriors rematch Matt?” Seriously, you mean the two teams that everyone expects to meet in the Finals with little resistance? Could we please get someone new in there for a change?

Hell, I would love a Spurs Celtics Finals. But seeing LeBron battle Steph and company again? It just seems like it may be a little boring this time depending on the circumstances. I mean, what does this year’s playoffs hold for Denver fans anyway? The answer is nothing.

Now, I will still watch games and I will certainly watch the NBA Finals. I am still a basketball fan after all. But this year’s playoffs just do not carry the weight for me that they would if my team got the opportunity to showcase their talent.

So, if it looks as if I’m disinterested in that Jazz Warriors game that I’m watching, it is because I am thinking about how Denver would have fared in a series against either team.
