Jamal Murray’s work ethic has criminally gotten overlooked by peers and fans alike.

Jamal Murray played the entire year with a sports hernia. The funny thing is that he was probably the toughest Nugget on the roster this past season.

Well, he once again has shown great work ethic. He has been in the gym constantly while trying to recover from back surgery. This is the type of work ethic that will carry him to great heights not just for the Nuggets, but for his own  personal career.

According to a tweet by T.J. McBride, Murray is ALWAYS in the gym trying to rehab from the procedure. Jamal Murray has a hungry type of attitude that is needed in NBA young guns. The determination for success he possesses is similar to the Black Mamba mentality.

As a result, do not be surprised if he quickly becomes one of the Nuggets’ most electric scoring options in the near future. Oh, and he can also play both of the guard positions at a high level. That is only going to make him more dangerous going forward.

With Murray’s hard work and willingness to get better, it will eventually translate to the team as well and elevate them to playoff status. Murray’s work ethic is a big reason why he is considered an integral part of the young trio of young, key players in Nikola Jokic, himself and Gary Harris on the Nuggets.

Mark my words, Jamal Murray will only get better if he continues to work on his game in the way he has and live in the gym even while rehabbing from surgery.
