Denver Nuggets: Future assets that need to be held

With free agency looming, and trade rumors swirling, one thing remains true for the Nuggets. There are several players that they need to hang onto for the future.

While it would be great to see the Nuggets land a player like Kevin Love in a trade, they need to watch their boundaries.

They’ve done a good job rebuilding their team up, and there is no need to trade it all away. These players represent the direction that the team needs to take in the near future.

I will be discussing three players that need to remain on the team in the upcoming years. Whether they have a lot of potential or they’ve had break-out seasons, we should hope they are in a Nuggets uniform for a long time. With that out-of-the-way, let’s get started.
