The next player that needs to remain in Denver for a while is Jamal Murray.

Jamal Murray has the potential to be a star in this league, after showing several flashes during his

rookie season. A rookie season that included him finishing with a spot on the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. Murray has made the transition to point guard, and I could honestly see him starting for the Nuggets at PG.

Whether it was a 30 point game with five assists or 10 point, 10 assist game, Murray guaranteed production in his starts last season. I like the future that he can hold at the point guard position, and I feel that he will only be better after his rookie season.

Not to mention, it was revealed that Murray played in all 82 games in his rookie season with a sports hernia. Many NBA players would sit out for a good amount of time for an injury like that, let alone play every game. It really makes a Nuggets fan wonder, how much better will Murray be without the hernia?

He’s a grinder, with a great work ethic, and obvious determination in his craft. While he only averaged about ten points per game last season, fans must take a step back and look at the big picture. Murray is a talented basketball player with the potential to become a great point guard for the Nuggets. He missed his first 18 career shot attempts, but picked it up and turned in a decent rookie campaign. The Nuggets only missed the playoffs by a couple of games in his first year. I think the future could be bright for the Blue Arrow.
