The Denver Nuggets have to move players around considering their roster is much too crowded.

While landing Paul Millsap was a win for the Denver Nuggets this off season, they have another dilemma on their hands. The depth chart is much too crowded. Even with the trade that sent Gallinari to the Los Angeles Clippers, spreading enough minutes around is going to be a hassle for Coach Malone.

Do not forget that Denver added Trey Lyles in a peculiar trade during the draft and then drafted another front court player in Tyler Lydon to add to the already crowded front court. Just think about it.

Denver now has Lydon, Faried, Millsap, Lyles, Arthur, maybe Plumlee and Nikola Jokic all at the power forward or center spots. Finding enough minutes for all of these guys is going to be a tall order. It does not end there though.

The back court situation is also adding extra bodies. Jamal Murray, Gary Harris and Jameer Nelson are the main components of the back court, but there is still Emmanuel Mudiay, Malik Beasley, Will Barton and newly drafted point guard, Monte Morris to find minutes for as well. That leaves a glaring spot at the small forward position for the Nuggets.

The Nuggets are almost too deep believe it or not at every other position. Wilson Chandler and Juancho Hernangomez are the only true small forwards on the team. Both players are more than capable of shouldering the load at the wing, but it would still not hurt to bring in another small forward to assist both players when they both may need a breather.

Denver could leverage this during the season, or even before, by offloading some of the other players who are expendable to free up both roster and cap space.

Next: Denver may be done making moves

Either way you look at it, the Nuggets need to do something to this crowded roster.
