Finishing off the list is the sophomore guard, Jamal Murray.

Man, the fan base loves this kid, and I am no different. I believe that Murray has the potential to be great in this league, and I hope he’s in a Nuggets uniform for a long time. He’s a good size for a guard, a lethal shooter and incredibly athletic. Murray has proven to be durable as well, as he played through not one, but two sports hernias last season. Jamal played all 82 games, even with that serious of an injury.

He played shooting guard at the University of Kentucky, but Murray has experience at the point guard position. He actually started at the position towards the end of last year when the Nuggets were knocked out of playoff contention. Murray is a player that will be one extreme or the other, as he’ll drop 30 points and two assists one game and then ten points and ten assists the next.

He has so much potential, and I can’t wait to see what he will do next year, especially after healing from the injury. That being said, there are a few cons as well. As I stated before, he played mostly shooting guard at Kentucky and the first part of last season. Will he translate well for the point guard position? Can he bring any defense to the starting line-up, something the Nuggets desperately need?

Next: Harris' off-ball movement

Those questions will remain unanswered until he gets a shot at the starting position. I personally believe that is the option they need to go with. What do you think? Who will start for the Nuggets at point guard when the season rolls around? We’d love to hear your opinion!
