The Denver Nuggets look like a team that could compete for a long time.

I say this because they have done everything correctly in their rebuilding phase. They’ve drafted well during the phase.

They went out and signed a big name free agent in Paul Millsap. There is a lot of young talent, with a good mix of veteran leadership on the roster. In the grand scheme of things, however, they are not done with the process.

Sure, what they’ve done has been phenomenal, but there are a few moves that need to happen in the future in order to put them over the top.

Whether it’s for on down the road, or right now, here are three steps the Nuggets must take soon.
