Three Nuggets crack ESPN’s top 100 NBA rankings
Paul Millsap (27)
At number 27 Millsap is the second Denver Nugget to crack the top 30. Joining Jokic in the top 30, Denver is now one of eleven teams to have at least two players in the top 30.
Denver Nuggets
Millsap is another guy that can do a little bit of everything and is coming off one of his best seasons. The former Atlanta Hawk experienced a career high in scoring (18.1 ppg) and his best season in terms of assists (3.7). The four time all-star also brings elite defense to the table, which will be an immense help for Denver.
Mr. Consistent could be Millsap’s nickname as he only moved down two spots in the rankings after being number 25 last season… someone had to move down to make room for Jokic. Millsap’s ranking is well deserved, and It will be fun to watch how much more space he will give the Denver offense. His ability to pass and handle the ball will make the Nuggets one of the most versatile team’s on offense next season.
Player I am surprised he is ahead of: Marc Gasol (29)
Player I am surprised he is behind: Kristaps Porzingis (22)
