The Nuggets were smart to give Gary Harris a contract extension.

The Denver Nuggets drafted premier three and D Gary Harris three years ago.  However, under coach Brian Shaw, it appeared Harris would be just another role player, unable to find his niche. Management changed, and Harris was given the opportunity to start, and he has yet to relinquish that chance.

ESPN NBA Insider Reporter Adrian Wojnarowski broke the News late Saturday night.

Harris has become a vital part of the Nuggets core, therefore, locking him up with the four-year extension is a great call by Tim Connelly and company for these 3 reasons.
