The Denver Nuggets concluded their preseason at home against the new look Oklahoma City Thunder. It was an up-tempo, physical contest between two Northwest Division rivals. Here are a few takeaways from the game as the Nuggets head into the regular season.

Murray Looks to be the Starting Point Guard

Michael Malone was asked about the Nugget’s point guard situation going into the final preseason game (he wants to have the starting lineup set by the final preseason game). He said this via the Denver Post,

"“I have a good indication of who I’m going to go with… But we still have (Tuesday night) and several more practices to make that final decision.”"

Jamal Murray started Tuesday’s game at the point with Jameer Nelson as the first backup off the bench.  Is that just the luck of the draw for tonight, or is Emmanuel Mudiay the odd man out?
