The Nuggets need to get Millsap established inside.

Other than Jokic, the Nuggets have not had a signature post presence since Nene (which is already a stretch). Carmelo had established himself as a post presence, especially in his later years. Though we all know Melo by his mid-range game as well as his ability to beat his man in isolation.

That’s where they bring in Paul Millsap.  The Nugget’s prized off season acquisition may not be the biggest, strongest, or the fastest on the court. Nevertheless, you can see his IQ shine on the block and in the paint. His footwork is impeccable, and he has a knack for getting in the right spot to gain the advantage over the defender. Denver needs to utilize his post presence alongside Jokic for a nice one, two punch.
