Match up to Watch: Paul Millsap vs. Kyle Kuzma

The match up to watch in Los Angeles will be the veteran star, Paul Millsap vs. the young Kyle Kuzma.

As the Denver Nuggets battle the Los Angeles Lakers, one match up to keep an eye on is the battle at the power forward spot between Paul Millsap and Kyle Kuzma.

Kuzma has been a pleasant revelation for the Lakers this year and has proven to be more effective so far than second overall pick, Lonzo Ball. Meanwhile, the Nuggets are seemingly gelling at the right time as the addition of Paul Millsap has bolstered their defense as Denver has really improved at that end of the floor.

Millsap can do it all whether it be posting up, protecting the rim, shoot the three and shoot the mid range which will be an extremely tough test for the young Kyle Kuzma.

Kuzma is no pushover either though as he looks like the steal of this summer’s first round draft with the way he has been playing. Kuzma has been a very versatile tool for the Lakers which they have needed with the way Lonzo Ball has struggled out of the gate. Without Kuzma, Los Angeles would most likely be in worse shape than they are currently in right now.

Millsap on the other hand looks as if he is finally comfortable in Denver’s offensive scheme and showcased this the other night when he scored 20 points against the Demarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis led New Orleans Pelicans.

It will be a match up of experience against youth in the front court and it is shaping up to be a very intriguing match up between Millsap and Kuzma as both teams look to get something going as the season progresses.
