Jamal Murray will have a tall task guarding Steph Curry.

In the Nuggets vs. Warriors game, the match up to keep an eye on will be Jamal Murray vs. Steph Curry.

While Curry is clearly the better player, Murray has actually been playing great as of late. Murray has also been an offensive force for Denver and there is a reason he has earned the nickname “the Blue Arrow.”

Murray has often been compared by many Nuggets fans as the next version of Steph Curry, meaning he has a pure jump shot and has a very pretty way of playing on the offensive side of the floor.

The Nuggets will have their hands full as a whole team, but Murray will especially have his work cut out for him. Curry recently had an outstanding 45 point performance, so Murray will have to try his best to cool him off and make sure to crowd him at the three point line.

The help defense will have to be ready when Curry drives the paint since he is also adept at finishing the at the rim. Murray is still learning as a defender, so the team’s help defense will have to be on their A game to help him out as he has to guard the only unanimous MVP in NBA history.

Curry cannot overlook Murray either as Murray has been silently solid for the Nuggets lately, transitioning smoothly from the shooting guard spot to the point guard position. Murray has became on of the Nuggets’ hottest three point shooting guards on the team and has made a formidable back court with Gary Harris.
