The Denver Nuggets will try to find their rhythm again as they take on the Dallas Mavericks in the Pepsi Centers.
The Denver Nuggets have found themselves in a bit of a slump lately. For the first time this season, they are in severe danger of falling to .500 and even slipping out of the Western Conference playoff picture.
They will have a good opportunity against the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks have really struggled this season, but still cannot be overlooked.
Any team with Dirk Nowitski is always going to have a chance, no matter how old the future hall of famer is and that is the case with the Mavericks. The one advantage the Nuggets will have is the home court advantage. Denver has became one of the best home teams in the league and this is something they must capitalize on if they want to overcome this young and scrappy Dallas squad.
Denver will have to come out much more prepared and aggressive than they have as of late. Losing to teams like the Mavericks, Hawks and Kings has became a bad habit for this team and if they aren’t wary, it will come back to bite them come post season time, which is closer than many fans realize.
This could be another trap game, so the Nuggets must come out and prove they belong in the competitive Western Conference. If not, it will look like the critics were right about this team once again. Dennis Smith Jr. will be the wild card for Dallas whom Denver needs to watch out for, otherwise things could get ugly very quickly.

If the Nuggets get back to playing decent enough defense and find their offensive groove again, they should be able to get back on track at home in the Pepsi Center.
