Rumor: Kenneth Faried may be on the move
By Mathew Huff
The Nuggets have been trying to find minutes for Kenneth Faried all year and this conundrum may come to and end soon.
Kenneth Faried has had a frustrating season to say the least. He has had a hard time carving out minutes in the Nuggets’ crowded front court and even with the injury of Paul Millsap, he still is having a hard time getting meaningful playing time.
According to a report from metro.us, Faried may be on the trade block in terms of a trade with the Boston Celtics. Boston has the Disabled Player Exception to use this season in terms of a trade. While the Celtics have been a terrific revelation this year in the league, they are still lacking in certain aspects. One of these facets they could improve upon is rebounding.
While Al Horford is an All Star, he is only one low presence player who can rebound effectively on the Celtics. With the addition of Kenneth Faried, the Celtics could add some much energy to their team and possibly catapult themselves into the next realm of elite NBA teams. Not to mention, Faried would be a fun addition to the crafty Kyrie Irving. Faried would be a unique weapon to utilize for Kyrie in terms of passing and getting highlight alley-oops.
The problem is the Nuggets would not get much in return for the Manimal. All they would receive in return would be a player would be a Shane Larkin or Abdel Nader, credit to metro.us once again. Certainly not equal value for a player like Faried.
However, with the crowded front court Denver possesses, they may have to bite the bullet and find a way to use the players from Boston as trade bait in another potential deal.

It is all speculation right now, but do not be surprised if Faried’s time in Denver comes to an end this season.
