The Denver Nuggets will look to snap their two game losing streak against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Denver Nuggets are coming off two heart breaking losses. These losses combine for a total of a measly three points. Denver only lost by one to the Boston Celtics and they only lost to the San Antonio Spurs by two points.

While these losses have certainly hurt, there is one positive to take away from them. The Nuggets have shown heart and the fight to keep up with the top tier teams in the NBA. If they can capitalize on the momentum they have gained in the close losses and execute in the fourth quarter, they will have a legitimate shot at silencing the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Thunder have finally started to get things to click at this point of the season after a sluggish start which had many skeptics thinking they may not even make the post season. They are on an eight game win streak and Russell Westbrook looks as if he may average a triple double again this season!

Carmelo Anthony is also very familiar with the rims in the Mile High and he is always looking to put on a show. Paul George is an All Star and is leading the league in steals and is one of the best three point shooters in the league.

Denver won’t be able to stop the OK3, but they must find a way to at least somewhat limit one of the three stars. Easier said than done with these three high caliber players though.

These teams are not in the same circumstances as they were earlier in the season when the Nuggets got a key win over the Thunder. Denver still had Paul Millsap and Oklahoma City was still trying to gel.

Next: Should Denver trade for Lou Williams?

However, this is a must win for the Nuggets and looking at the schedule ahead, it doesn’t get any easier.
