The Denver Nuggets were able to bounce back in impressive fashion against the Phoenix Suns.

The Denver Nuggets were able to get a rare road win by prevailing over the rebuilding Phoenix Suns. After an embarrassing performance in Houston the night before, Denver came into Arizona with a chip on their shoulders. The Nuggets were able to win by a final score of 123-113.

Wilson Chandler had his best game of the season as he finished with a team high 26 points along with shooting a remarkable 73.3% from the field. He certainly showed potential in this game and looked more like his self which impressed many fans from last season.

Denver was able to take advantage of the absence of Devin Booker for the Suns. They utilized a small ball lineup in this game with Wilson Chandler starting at the four and each starter finished in double figures.

Nikola Jokic nearly came away with a triple double as he finished with 21 points and nine rebounds and eight assists. A great way to bounce back for the Joker after the debacle in Houston against the Rockets the night before.

Will Barton was also key as he finished with 25 points, five rebounds and five assists on 71.4% shooting from the field.

Denver was also able to win the battle on the boards. The Nuggets finished with 37 rebounds as a team and the Suns finished with 36 rebounds. A small margin, but still key in the long run for the win.

The Nuggets were also the slightly better defensive unit as they finished with 10 steals and five blocks compared to Phoenix’s seven steals and nine blocks.
