1) Kenyon Martin

Kenyon Martin was the alpha dog for the Denver nuggets for most of the 2000s. He was our enforcer, our Doug Glatt, the team’s big brother. Kenyon thrived on being labeled the thug, most notably by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban during the 2009 Western Conference playoff run.

During Game one of that series, Kenyon Martin sent a message to the Dallas Mavericks (which consequently lead to Cuban’s comments) by body checking superstar Dirk Nowitzki.

This epitomizes Kenyon Martin and what he stood for during his time with the Nuggets. He left it out there on the court, and his passion is a sole reason why he will always be my personal favorite.
