Too many threes.

An extension from the previous slide, the Nuggets offense fluctuates. During the first quarter the Nuggets moved the ball around, which lead to open post ups and wide open kick out threes. That is great basketball!

The only issue with those kind of starts is that Denver usually falls in love with the three pointer. I’ll admit, Denver shot lights out last night, which explains the blowout victory. Nonetheless, that is not always the case for Denver.

Remember the LA Clipper game, the Memphis Grizzlies game and the Detroit Piston game? In each of those games the Nuggets broke out a large double digit late into the game but fell into a stagnant outside shooting offense that eventually lead to the other team coming back. Denver gets too caught up in shooting, and that eventually leads to their downfall.
