The Denver Nuggets continue their gruesome road trip as they travel to Washington to take on the Wizards.
The Denver Nuggets are coming off a blow out win over the tanking Chicago Bulls. However, Washington is going to be a much harder challenge. The Wizards are currently in the thick of the playoffs in the Eastern Conference whereas the Nuggets are struggling to even sneak into the post season in the Western Conference.
Bradley Beal and John Wall were both All Stars for a reason this year. As a result, Denver’s back court is going to be in for a tough time. Especially if they are still without Gary Harris. Denver’s front court consisting of Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap will have to step up in order to match the production of Washington’s back court.
If the Nuggets want the fans to start taking them serious again, this is the perfect game to win. They are the underdogs in every facet of this game. They are on the road where they have struggled all season long and have not defeated the Wizards for quite some time now.
Many people believe this is a game the Wizards have in the bag already, including Denver Nuggets fans.
If they are able to pull off the upset, then it will re-vitalize the fan base’s faith. It will be a much better and more convincing win than winning against the Chicago Bulls.
It is going be extremely difficult though. John Wall and Bradley are debatebly the second best back court in the league. As a result, the Nuggets have an uphill battle before the game has even started.
