Denver Nuggets pull off comeback against Milwaukee Bucks

DENVER, CO - APRIL 1: Nikola Jokic

The Denver Nuggets rallied when things seemed the darkest and pulled off an amazing comeback over the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Denver Nuggets faltered majorly in the third quarter. When all hope seemed lost, many fans left the Pepsi Center which resulted in many empty seats.

What these fans missed was Denver’s greatest comeback all season. They were able to go on a 27-7 run to force overtime. Once overtime hit, it seemed like the Nuggets had the Bucks where they wanted them.

Despite Jabari Parker and Eric Bledsoe combining for 96 points, the Nuggets were able to ride on the coat tails of their two stars in Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap. These two are finding their chemistry again. Every game, you can tell the rhythm between them gets a bit better.

Jokic had another monster game, which seems to be becoming the norm for him, with a team high 35 points, 13 rebounds and five assists. Millsap did miss some key shots, including the one at the end of regulation, but I am not too upset with that. He still had 26 points and also tallied 13 rebounds and five assists just like Jokic.

The Nugget of the night though is Jamal Murray. He and Bledsoe had an amazing duel. Bledsoe won in the points category, but Murray gets the win for his respective team. Jamal posted 27 points along with seven assists and a sky high box plus/minus of +26.

Murray once again showed his clutch gene as he hit a crucial three pointer in the home stretch of the game. The kid is growing at a fast rate right before our very eyes.

Denver needed this win as both the Jazz and the Pelicans lost, so losing this game would have been a disaster.
