The Denver Nuggets have won two straight games in overtime, but they will be tested against the Indiana Pacers.

The Denver Nuggets are hanging on to the very end of their Western Conference post season hopes. They have gotten huge wins against the Oklahoma City Thunder and most recently, the Milwaukee Bucks.

Both games they won in overtime. However, they are probably going to have to be ready to finish in the fourth quarter against the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers have been one of the most pleasant surprises in the entire NBA this season. Many, including myself, thought the departure of Paul George would really hurt them. The change of scenery has brought out the best in the young sensation which is Victor Oladipo.

Remember, the last time these teams faced off, it went to overtime. What ensued was one of the Nuggets’ key collapses this season which has been a strain on the playoff aspirations of this Denver Nuggets squad.

However, Denver is carrying a ton of momentum into this game. The last two wins have been nail biters and have shown this Nuggets squad does have the resiliency they need in them. Nikola Jokic has been a monster as of late and despite being without Gary Harris, the team has started to find a rhythm at the correct time. Just in time for the home stretch which will dictate the team’s playoff fate.

Paul Millsap will be key to this game. Sure, he made some mistakes in the last game, but was still solid overall. Keep in mind, he is still knocking off the rust after missing half of the season. Don’t be surprised if he goes off in this match up against Indiana.

It will be another must win for the Nuggets, but they should be riding high off of the last win at the Mile High.
