The Denver Nuggets are coming in extremely hot after three close wins. In this game, Wilson Chandler will be the X factor. He will be matched up against one of the up and coming stars of the game, Andrew Wiggins.
Wilson Chandler has regained some of his form since the All Star break. A great sign for Denver as he was massively struggling at the beginning of the season. Wiggins, on the other hand, has been developing nicely despite a controversial season.
He has been relegated to the third option nearly all year with the addition of Jimmy Butler and there have been rumors of him being discontent in the role. Both of these players will come in with chip on their shoulders.
Chandler will be looking to prove his importance to the Nuggets while Wiggins will want to show he is capable of leading a team as the first or second go to option on offense. Chandler has been consistent on the defensive end of the floor so far this year, so Wiggins will have to be ready to show what he can do on the offensive end of the floor.
Not just shoot, but also drive the paint on Chandler. Of course, Chandler has to be ready to be productive on offense as well. This will mean being at the right spot at the right time when Jokic is running the offense.
Be prepared to shoot the jump shot and make sure to be in the triple threat position when catching the ball. This will allow him to drive effectively if Wiggins bites on a shot fake or two.
