The Denver Nuggets have a two way gem in Gary Harris. He has been overlooked for the past four seasons, but is he still underrated?

Gary Harris is on an upward trajectory which could eventually land him in an All Star game in the future. This past season, we saw him develop a clutch gene both of the offensive end and the defensive end.

As a result, it got him some exposure from the rest of the league’s peers. So, after this season, is it safe to say he is still underrated? In my opinion, he is still underrated.

Is he starting to get more exposure? Yes, but he could still be given more credit for what he does on the defensive end of the floor.

He has developed a great and polished offensive mind set, but many do not realize he is Denver’s best perimeter two way player. Arguably the best two way player on the team in general, but Paul Millsap may beg to differ, so we will save that debate for another day.

Harris has substantially improved every year he has been in the league and with this fact, he should be in the same conversation of improving two way players such as Jimmy Butler. Not necessarily in terms of talent right now, but in terms of the stage he is at in his career.

It is very similar to Jimmy Butler when he was about to enter his prime. Harris is arguably the second best player on the whole Denver Nuggets squad, as a result, he should be getting a little bit more exposure from Denver’s media as well.

Jokic is already the best player an it is easy to be enamored by Jamal Murray’s play. However, Gary Harris is still one of the most underrated two way shooting guards in the entire league.
