The Denver Nuggets have a busy free agency period ahead of them.

The Denver Nuggets need to find a way to remedy the situation at the small forward spot. There will be plenty of options to go with in the draft, but the fact remains, they are all un-proven.

This free agency has some key wings hitting the market. We all know about the big time free agent small forwards like LeBron James and maybe Kevin Durant. However, I will be talking about realistic possibilities for the Denver Nuggets who will still be beneficial for the organization.

On this week’s Huff’s hot take, I predict Denver will make some type of splash in this summer’s free agency. The splash being the Nuggets snagging a solid three and D guy who will fit their scheme perfectly.

I think the Nuggets will be able to land a player like Danny Green, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute or even Trevor Ariza. Jabari Parker would actually be the most ideal wing for the Nuggets, but the prediction remains.

Denver has seen their fortunes slowly, but surely change for the better in the past off seasons. They were able to land a four time All Star in Paul Millsap last summer, the first big name they have been able to land in what seemed like forever.

Before you start criticizing Millsap, he was injured most of this season, so it would be unfair to write him off yet.

The Nuggets have constructed one of the most intriguing cores in the league. It is going to be very difficult for one of the free agent wings to resist the urge to join one of the most promising up and coming teams in the NBA.

Regardless, I am going out on a limb and predicting the Denver Nuggets will make a splash in free agency and fix their wing situation.
