Recently, I wrote a free agent pitch to Jabari Parker for the Denver Nuggets. There are many reasons Parker is an ideal fit and I will be delving into why.
The Denver Nuggets need to try their best in free agency to snag Jabari Parker from the Milwaukee Bucks. Jabari would be the perfect fit for the Denver Nuggets.
First of all, Parker has great length to play the small forward spot along with some underrated athleticism. Injury problems are a concern. However, the Nuggets cannot afford to let one bad quality cloud their judgement on a young wing who will fit their scheme.
This transitions to the next point. Parker would thrive in Denver’s system which emphasizes ball movement in a fluid and efficient manner. Parker had a great year this season with the Milwaukee Bucks.
He may feel as if he deserves a new contract and if the Nuggets offer him a nice deal, he can use that as leverage against Milwaukee. Parker is a growing and budding young player who has rebounded well after the knee injuries.
With Denver’s young core, Parker will be potentially be the final piece to the puzzle to help them compete in the West.
Jabari most likely will not feel the need to be the first option on whatever team he is on. Parker’s versatility would be beneficial. With Jokic, Millsap, Murray and Harris as the main scoring options, Denver can utilize Parker in other ways whether it is in off ball movement or in defensive situations.
It will not be an easy task to snatch Parker away from the Milwaukee Bucks.
Next: Denver Nuggets as Infinity War characters
However, the Denver Nuggets need to be prepared to give the young and lengthy wing an offer in this upcoming free agency.
