Could Trevon Duval be the answer at PG for Nuggets?

In Duke’s season opener, Duval played 24 minutes and scored 8 points while dishing out 8 assists. In the second game of the season, Duval scored 15 points on 7-10 shooting and dished out a season-high 12 assists. Against #2 ranked Michigan State, Duval played 37 out of 40 minutes, scored 17 points, collected 10 assists, and grabbed a season-high 6 steals as Duke went on to win 88-81.
He would score a season-high 22 points on 7-14 shooting against Portland State. Duke would finish the year with a 29-8 record. Duval finished the season with averages of 10.3 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 5.6 apg, 1.5 spg and 2.8 turnovers per game.
By the end of the season, Duke had qualified for the NCAA tournament as a 2 seed. In their first-round win over Iona, he finished with 19 points and 8 assists. In the Elite 8 matchup against Kansas, Duval registered 43 minutes and 20 points on 56.3% shooting, 6 assists, and 2 steals. Duke would end up losing the game in OT.
On April 4th, 2018, Duval announced plans to forgo his remaining 3 years of eligibility to declare for the NBA Draft.
