The Denver Nuggets have done nothing but improve year after year for the past  few seasons.

With that being said, this may be the season where we see the Denver Nuggets take a massive jump. Going back to the 2014-15 season, the Nuggets have improved their regular season record every year.

Last season, they won 46 games which would have resulted in a high playoff seed if they were in the Eastern Conference. Unfortunately, they finished one game out of the eighth seed in the extremely competitive Western Conference.

The Nuggets have done a great job in constructing their core. Denver got straight up highway robbery from the Chicago Bulls when they traded Doug McDermott to for the services of Jusuf Nurkic and Gary Harris. Harris has became one of their staples on their team and is their premier two way player as of right now.

Of course, we cannot forget about possibly the greatest steal of all time in Nikola Jokic. Nikola Jokic was a second round pick who had a Taco Bell commercial going when the selection was made. The end result? Arguably the best big man in the NBA as of right now.

Then, there was the Kentucky sensation, Jamal Murray. Murray has a Steph Curry type of ceiling and seems to fit the core trio perfectly with Gary Harris and Nikola Jokic.

These three have had a major role in turning this organization’s fortunes around. With this team coming off a 46 win season, do not be surprised if this team shocks the NBA world and wins over 50 games next year.

They have a solidified core who is growing well together and they have now established an identity. The team knows what they want to accomplish and they look well on their way to a ton of success.
