The Denver Nuggets are one of the few teams who match up well with the defending champs on paper.

It is no secret by now the Golden State Warriors are most likely going to win the NBA Finals again this coming season. With DeMarcus Cousins coming onto their roster, it is pretty much a lock at this point.

However, that does not mean us Denver Nuggets fans should not be excited for the upcoming year. As a matter of fact, the team is one of the few squads in the league who can give the Warriors a run for their money.

Looking at the starting lineups on paper, the Nuggets have decent enough talent to actually match up with the overpowered Warriors. Who are these players in the starting five you ask?

If you are a new Nuggets fan, then I am here to go over the starters with you and show you who their match up on Golden State’s starting rotation.

Without further adieu, let’s break down Denver’s talent and whether or not they can actually compete with the defending champion Warriors come next season.
