Many Denver Nuggets fans still want Kawhi Leonard even it is only for a year.

With that being said, we will take a look at five reasons for the Denver Nuggets to trade for the Spurs star in this article. Personally, I would not, but one cannot deny what he brings to the table in terms of his defensive presence and ability to score.

The man is not a former Finals MVP and two time Defensive Player of the Year for no reason. Not to mention, he would actually pair well with Nikola Jokic as he would open up the offense and be another weapon on the perimeter.

A weapon who will assist in the spacing for Nikola Jokic to operate in the low post and run the offense.
