Potential change of mind.

As we have seen in the NBA, one cannot really take players at their word anymore. Remember, Paul George was talking about how he was going to the Lakers eventually?

Well, obviously he changed his mind as he is going to stay with the Thunder long term now. Who is to say the same cannot be done with the Denver Nuggets and Kawhi Leonard.

After all, Popovich would be more willing to help out the Nuggets rather than the Clippers or Lakers.

If the Nuggets can swing a trade to get him in a Denver jersey for at least a year, then they can begin their sales pitch early for the two way player.
