While everyone continues to obsess over LeBron in the Western Conference, they continue to criminally overlook the Denver Nuggets.

The Denver Nuggets are the most overlooked and underrated team in the NBA. That is a fact, do not even try to debate me on this fact.

People actually believe a Lakers team with LeBron and Javale McGee will be better than the Denver Nuggets? All I have to say is, wow!

The Nuggets have perhaps the best young core in the league led by Nikola Jokic. Not to mention, people seem to forget the team was only one win away from making the post season in the Western Conference which was extremely competitive last season.

Denver got better this off season by locking up Nikola Jokic, Torrey Craig and Will Barton long term. They got a steal in Michael Porter Jr. and were able to trade away Darrell Arthur, Kenneth Faried and Wilson Chandler. The cherry on top was bringing in Isaiah Thomas on a veteran minimum deal.

Meanwhile, many other teams win the West got worse. Yes, the Lakers are better with LeBron and Rondo, but outside of them, they do not have much to offer.

The Spurs are looking like they will be without Kawhi Leonard. The Thunder lost Melo and had to give Paul George a big pay day.

Portland is in constant rumors about trading away Damian Lillard and lost the season series to Denver last year. The Timberwolves have locker room issues as Jimmy Butler is unhappy with the young stars.

The Jazz got a lucky break at the end of the year last season. The Pelicans lost DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo. Finally, only the Warriors and Rockets seem to be a lock in the West this coming season.

Yet, no one wants to give the Nuggets their due credit and continue to overrate LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers.

It is time for the rest of the league to stop overlooking the Denver Nuggets and start realizing how dangerous they truly are to the rest of the league.
