Denver Nuggets: It’s most-talented roster since the George Karl era. Let’s take a look:

Point Guards:

Starter – Jamal Murray

A stud shooter with athleticism to boot, Murray oozes with potential. He made the jump from 10 points per game in 2016-2017 to nearly 17 last year (ESPN). Some experts believe he’ll hit the 20+ mark in 2018-2019. Look for Murray to demand the ball more, playing second-fiddle only to Jokic.

Key reserve – Isaiah Thomas

A former MVP candidate, Thomas currently rides the Comeback Avenue. He will likely play big minutes at both guard spots. In 15 games off the bench with LA last year, Thomas posted 20+ points six times (ESPN). Look for a possible Isaiah sighting among NBA sixth man finalists.

Little used – Monte Morris

Monte tore it up playing G-league ball last year. He was Murray’s projected backup before IT signed. Denver inked Monte for three years, even after Isaiah arrived (Denver Post). He’ll be counted on heavily if injuries occur.
