When I searched for Michael Adams of the Denver Nuggets on Google Images, I didn’t find what I expected.

There were several pictures of a chess grand master, a defensive back in the NFL with 3 career interceptions, some lawyers, a couple of mug shots, and even a woman. Now, there would be nothing wrong with that if I didn’t know what I was looking for. But I did.

Michael Adams is one of the greatest point guards to ever pull on a Denver Nuggets jersey. But his face didn’t grace my computer screen until I had scrolled past 98 other images. This made no sense to me.

While I wasn’t even alive when Adams was playing in the league, when I look at the Nuggets all-time leader boards, he is a name I am certain to find in a couple of places. An expert passer, a 3-point assassin, and one of the most efficient passing point guards not just in Nuggets history, but in NBA history. So why do I not see his image until the 99th result when I look him up?

In case you don’t know who Adams is so you cannot relate to my shock, let me enlighten you. This is the forgotten Nuggets legend.
