Early Verdict: Poor man’s Kevin Durant

Realistically speaking, Porter should evolve into a poor-man’s Kevin Durant.  MPJ possess the length, shooting, handle, and athleticism to render himself the NBA’s closest thing to KD in ten years.

Barring injury, Mike will likely eclipse 20 ppg in his career. He will resemble Durant, with a bit less stardom.

The Paul George comparison is respectable. Porter resembles PG, but with more size and less defensive tenacity.

The Harrison Barnes and Andrew Wiggins picks appear less likely. Good thoughts in both articles, however.

The Greg Oden comparison is an outside risk…the tale of injury destroying a promising career.

If it doesn’t, however…brace yourselves Mile High.
