The 2018-19 NBA season promises to be bigger and better than its 2017-18 counterpart, especially for the Denver Nuggets.

LeBron James is no longer in Cleveland, which means that there is an almost 0% chance of them making the NBA Finals(+45000 odds to win the title according to Odds Shark). That means that for the first time in 4 years, we will not have a Warriors-Cavs series to end the season. That’s something to celebrate.

Two top-5 players in the league changed teams and conferences(James and Kawhi Leonard), and both changes were a long time coming. The Western Conference will be a huge tossup in terms of playoff seeding(it’s still very likely the Warriors will be in the Finals) and several teams that haven’t been competitive in a while will be challenging for a spot in the postseason. It’s going to be an interesting and intriguing ride.

It’s hard to predict what will happen in the future, especially with the level of talent in the league today. However, that is what I will be attempting to do.

Here are my predictions for the 2018-19 NBA season and how they impact the Denver Nuggets.
