Four surprise stars in Denver Nuggets’ history
1. Earl Boykins
Earl Boykins gets the first spot on this list due to the adversity he overcame due to his size. Somewhat like the Boston Celtics’ version of Isaiah Thomas, who of course is now on our respective Denver Nuggets.
Boykins played 16 years in the NBA, four of which here in Denver as a crucial back-up point guard behind Andre Miller for the majority of the time.
Boykins was a great scorer, but that’s not how he is remembered by the average NBA fan. People remember him because of his diminutive size of 5″5′ and how out of place he looked on the court.
Well, from all my years of watching Boykins play, he sure did not play like the smallest person on the court.
Instead, he looked like he had the most heart on the court despite being the smallest person on the floor.
That will do it for this list, hope you like it and let us know your opinions!
