6) Wins

Last year the Denver Nuggets went 46 and 36. This year, they could easily break the 50 wins barrier which would have them winning about 60% of the time.

With a roster loaded with talent, one or more major breakthroughs (from Jokic, Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, Paul Millsap etc) could easily result in Denver winning significantly more games than they lose.

As Muhammad Ali once said, “it’s good to be a winner” and nothing is more fun for a fan than supporting a team that wins.

7) Mile High City

Obviously, Denver is one of the NBA’s smaller markets but that is the whole appeal of Denver. It is unique, it is novel and it is different. It’s easy to see why someone might be a Lakers fan, regardless of where they are from. The Lakers can boast featuring many of the greatest players to ever play.

However, being a Nuggets fan makes you special, different, loyal, a leader as opposed to a follower. Supporting the Denver Nuggets makes you a part of a fan base that is by and large free of band wagoners. Championship contenders, maybe, this season will enlighten us.

Notwithstanding, one thing we already know is that the Denver Nuggets have a solid foundation for success in today’s NBA. That foundation gives them a shot at hoisting the Larry O’ Brien trophy which is all any self-respecting fan could ask.
