Magical offense through Jokic and ‘Bron:

For those who aren’t aware…Jokic-ball is a beautiful, free flowing style of attack, featuring well-balanced scoring and the league’s best-passing big man. Most opponents know little of this scheme. Until Denver blows their defense apart with 120 points. This style transformed Denver into one of the league’s best offenses. Players and coaches alike enjoy this system.

LeBron would love it too.

In Cleveland, LeBron often served as the team’s sole creator. Fans almost felt sorry for the dude in the Finals. Every Cavs bucket seemingly required his involvement. Meanwhile, Golden State carried superstars upon superstars. What if LeBron had the luxury of an off-night?

In Game 3 of the finals, Steph and Klay did just that. They laid a dud. Meanwhile, Durant had himself a night, carrying Golden State to the win. That’s what well-rounded teams do. Carry slack for each other. The Cavs couldn’t fathom this last year. Every game was a LeBron-or-bust story. Eventually, the wheels fell off…even ‘Bron is human.

Help galore exists in Denver. Jokic and LeBron each facilitate beautifully. Capable scorers would surround them in abundance. LeBron wants to score without play-making? Break towards the hoop…Jokic is among the league’s best at rewarding cutters. LeBron wants to facilitate again? Plug him into the “Jokic position”. Instead of doggedly battling in the lane, ‘Bron will come up to receive the ball. Trained cutters and shooters are available at every corner. Murray, Harris, Barton, Millsap, IT and Lyles are each projected to average over 10 points per game. James or Jokic could hit scorers left and right. Would this be the best-passing front court in NBA history?

LeBron reportedly wanted to team with play-makers in this new segment. To no one’s surprise, he grew tired of creating every play. Life gets physical in the lane. Considering LeBron’s goals, Denver should have been an option. Not even a meeting was entertained?

‘Bron likely had overabundant research at his fingertips. But, he missed something here. Denver’s offense offers everything he desires and more. Because ‘Bron and Jokic playing this style wouldn’t merely be swell. It would surpass even LeBron’s wildest dreams.
