The Denver Nuggets got a key win over the Utah Jazz.
The Denver Nuggets were able to maintain their hot streak at home vs. the division rival Utah Jazz. With that in mind, the Nuggets once again solidified themselves as one of the biggest surprises for this new NBA season.
For once this season, the Nuggets’ second unit and starters were all clicking on all cylinders and the result, was a big fourth quarter surge which led to a winning final score of 103-98. Nikola Jokic had a strange stat line where he shot poorly from the field (3-9), but was still extremely effective as he came away with an outstanding 16 assists and 10 rebounds.
Paul Millsap has been silently bouncing back this season as he once again held his own on the defensive end of the floor and came away with double figures in points with a total of 13 points on 60% shooting from the field.
Gary Harris was the high point man with 20 points and continues to make a case for being the second best player on the squad. Also, we cannot forget that Mason Plumlee hit his first career three point shot.
As a result, the crowd went insane as if the Nuggets had just won their first NBA Finals. Malik Beasley came away with double figures as well as he tallied 12 points on 50% shooting from the field.
However, the Nuggets showcased their potential in this big division game and with that being said, there were four key things we learned from this win over the Utah Jazz.
