Denver Nuggets vs. Brooklyn Nets: Four player grades

Let’s get the easiest one out-of-the-way first, my first player to grade is Nikola Jokic.

Jokic went on a TEAR in this game, silencing all of the doubters that were worried about his shot with style.

The Serbian big man went for 37 points on 14-22 shooting, and 21 rebounds. He was the driving force for the team at home that actually debuted their statement “Mile High City” jerseys, putting up a career high for rebounds.

It seemed like the Joker could do no wrong, well, other than one thing. He has to take better care of the basketball, especially in the clutch situations.

Jokic ended with six turnovers, a game high, and a travel on Denver’s second-to-last possession to set up Caris LeVert‘s game winning floater.

It’s because of this that I am forced to dock him half a letter grade, but Nikola Jokic was by no means the reason the Nuggets lost this game.
