The Denver Nuggets are sitting atop the Western Conference despite a slew of injuries and recovering players.
They don’t have the high profile names of other teams, but the nation may well know a lot more of the Nuggets by name before the season concludes. All this is because they may well be the best team in basketball.

Jamal Murray has been the other half of the dynamic duo that has kept the Nuggets afloat and top during this string of injuries.
Gary Harris is one of the best two way guards in the game when healthy and Paul Millsap again looked the part of an all star prior to breaking his toe.
There is much to look forward to for Nuggets fans for Christmas and into the New Year.
The returns of Will Barton, Gary Harris, Paul Millsap and Isaiah Thomas are thought to be imminent with their various time frames and the chance of a Michael Porter Jr debut. Beyond that, the team continues to play well with a “next man up” mentality.

So, the argument could certainly be made that the Nuggets are for real and legitimately belong with the top bets to go all the way.
With the anticipated arrival of our injured players returning, the Nuggets have the ability to get even better then they are now.
That sets the ceiling a mile high, but there is a lot of season left to play and nothing is guaranteed or given to you at this level so they will have to go out and take a playoff spot, or conference or even a championship.
